As long as they aren't just "get us by" rules like 4th until proper dexes reveal.

Or just plain stupid/redundant/maniacal rules.

For example, hmmm....

All successor chapters may re-roll a failed ld test or all successor chapters may play an extra turn after the game is over.

Just those Really stupid traits no one ever took in the current Marine Dex', I don't want those to represent a "Custom" army.
