I've been using Beasties as Bloodletters for a few years now. Yeah, 20 figs for $35 is so much better than 10 figs for $40 for the old BL. I may pick up some of the new plastic 'letters, @ 10 for $22, that's just a bit more that the beastmen. But, the beast have served me well, in a "Counts as" sort of way.

As for GW releasing lesser daemons, I kinda doubt it, or they would have released them last September when the army came out. They want us to keep buying the metal Daemons at $4 a pop.
