Well personally I like ultramarines but they're not for everyone. If you dislike rigid rules and order I would avoid them like the plague and go with a chapter like the blood angels. But if you want to be unique go create your own chapter and be creative with it.
Marines can be a fun as well as powerful army to collect but mostly fun!
