many of the older plague marine sculpts are as you describe, with bloating right up to the chin but the on newer ones it's all below the ribs. i guess it all depends on what look you prefer, and for my money it's the newer look.

the fly icons on the shoulders are very cool, you certainly seem to have that one down! and the flamer is freaking sweet but the little bit on top of the autocannon's ammo hopper needs a bit of work imo. maybe try to extend the effect down the sides of the ammo box and up onto the arm a bit?
