Re: Painting in Hot Weather Where are you located? It seems that everyone has a different idea of summer painting. In Florida, where I live, the humidity is normally so high that I don't have a real problem painting outdoors. Sometimes, I have a problem with slower drying times, because the humidity is so high, but for most part, summer is best. Just keep thinning your paint. As far as airbrushing goes, even with higher humidity, I like summer because the paint dries faster on the model (but I airbrush mostly enamels, so they dry more slowly than acrylics anyway). |
