i base all my minis with the same technique but i like painting the sand i use. ( which some people dont like but i dont care ). like for my space marines depending on the army for example when i do UM i use pretty much all shades of brown, but when i do my salamanders theres green and brown in it. when i do my death guard i make it snow themed to contrast the dirty decay since white is so clean. but the exception is my alpha legion the base i use for those are industrial. which i use a diamond plate sheet styrene |
