The Blood Reapers: renegade Blood Angels led by the Prophet Cruentus Mortis

Cruentus and many others in the warband wher beloved sons of sanguinius during the crusade. they wher all among the chosen bloodangels to join ther primarch's retinue in the assualt on horus's ship. during the assualt they wher thown straigh to the bridge of the warasters vessal wher they wher assualted by the strongest and most intense maddening warp energies and foul enteties of the warmasters fleet, while his sons fought for ther lives and sanity they wher forced to bear witnes to the death of ther beloved father sanguinius. as the primarc died ther was a great blast of psycic energy witch assailed every bloodangels mind. opening ther minds eye to ther beloved fathers last moments this coupled with the warp energy they wher emired in infected ther minds and drew the attention of the lord of change, Tzeech. who instantly began wispering to Cruentus showing him the truth of how it was no coincidence that the emperor happend to show up just as saguinius died.

showing cruentus the truth of how the emperor perposly sent them ther so that horus would kill sanguinius knowing that with sanguinius's death ther wouls be nobody to stande in his path to godhood once he desposed of horus. bade by the wispers in his head cruentus knelt at his fathers side and collected all the blood that was spilt as to not leave any trace of his lord in this acursed place collecting it all into a chalace that was found among horuses possesions on the bridge.so the cult of Sanguin was born. they all then returned to ther chapter and lernt to deal with the new found curse of the red thirst, and the bloodrage. centuries passed and cruentus and his followers secetly festerd and worshipped around the chalace of ther fathers blood, witch never seemed to go dry even as they drank from it at every dark gathering. ther numbers grew till one day they wher discoverd and ther was a large battle as the cult of sanguin took ther revenge one ther brothers for worshipping the betrayor who sent ther father to his death. many wher slain but many survived to escape into the warp.

after ther breaking from the betrayors cruentus underwent a dreastic mutation he grew many feet taller and wings sprouted from his back all in the image of father sanguin. and the psycic powers he had been hidng since he witnessed his fathers death grew rapidly.from that point on he has worn the deathmask of sangine as his old self was nomore and creuntus mortis was reborn. they use the blood of the father from the chalace of blood to survive and indoctrine new followers into ther ranks when ever lost renegades find them. over the centuris many of bloodangels and others have joined ther ranks. across the galaxy the new found Blood Reapers went spreadding the word of the prophet Cruentus and the promis that one day sanguin will be breborn. wher ever they go cults of sanguin remain. and blood runs ever red.
