well hordes in cover are a bugger to get out. i mean guardsmen in bunkers are as good as marines or in buildings they effectively get saves agains tanything as well as receiving pretty much free carapace armour.
flamers remove cover and make crispy guardsmen/nids/orks/ anything.
a game i was playing againt raveladvice and plagemonk, teaming up with the barnet ravel advices deep striking raptors burned swathes of guardsmen. i mean literally several full platoons were melted before they were stomped by the ogryns. a good game........
