In both of these choices I must ask the question of why the 2+ save? There are more AP2 weapons than AP3, and thus, its not really worth the points unless the only form of tank hunting your enemy has is krak missiles.

Though you say this guy is a tank hunter... he really isn't, in fact, your best tank hunter is your Winged Tyrant. This guy is tooled for anti-personall. The best 'nid tank hunter is a 'fex twin-linked barbed strangler with ehnanced senses and toxin sacs, well at least IMHO.
