Cadian Regiment 626 OOC: Okay, here we go, Elganor, Farseer, both you guys post your intro posts here. Introduce your character, remember, we’re all in the same squad, 8th Squad, 12th Platoon, Cadian Regiment 626th.
Bomb shells screamed through the air as Lenon was rudely awakened from his cat-nap. He jumped up and grabbed his lasgun and then cursed as he jerked a sore muscle.
Around him were his squad mates, the finest Cadia had to offer, although he had little time to get to know them on the ship from Cadia, being to busy chasing the female recruits (not that it had gotten him anywhere). But now he looked at them hoping they would live up to his and their officers expectations.
The orks were finally coming into view from despite the dust all around him. His sergeant gave the order to aim, and he raised his lagun waiting for the final order.
“FIRE!” the sergeant yelled. He was answered by the silent, zip of labels firing.
The squad fired again and again, three, no, four times before the orks were almost on top of them. At this point the squad’s flamer fired his gun burning the nearby orks as the rest of the men pulled out knives and bayonets.
The orks rushed amongst the Imperial Line. Some came down the trench line while others tried to hit the Lenon’s squad from the front.
He had attached his bayonet to his lasgun and was fighting like mad. He was scared, in fact probably had wet his pants, but he wasn’t going to run from these Emperor damned xenos monsters!
OOC: Okay, post up an intro to the thread, the orks are amongst the line and fighting like insane orks. After you all post up intros I’ll post again and we’ll see how this goes.
