OOC: Once again, I'm going to ask that you guys use proper grammar. That means caps after a period. Its not elitist, its just that basic grammar is a good standard for Rps, it also makes them easier to read. And, btw, orcs are orks in 40k. Back to the story.

The battle for the day was over. The orks had retreated and left the heavily mauled imperial line a mess of corpes and scattered las-guns.

Lenon's squad was long gone, he had attached himself to another platoon's command squad, the junior officer igorning him. However, this squad was not to be his home for long. The company commander asked for a volunteer for a special mission. Lenon was the only volunteer.

It turned out that only three other men had volunteered, leaving them one man short. The company commander decided that they would be lead by a Karskin.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next morning Lenon and his new squad assembled in front of their karskin sargeant, a tall, gruff looking man armed with a hell-pistol and powersword.

"Okay men! Listen up, we've been ordered to destory an ork artillery site on that ridge," he gestured to a distant ridge. "We've been given a chimera as a transport, along with a driver. Other than that, we've only recived five meltabombs apiece, nothing else. No lets get moving."

OOC: New mission, we do the following briefing, using the meltas to take out looted Baskilisks, and we'll have a battle... with Horn.
