When the battle was over against the Orks, Konan thought that it was time to take a day -off but, he was wrong. For some reason he volunteered for a special mission without taking a day-off. So instead of taking a day-off he had gone to bed early.

The next morning after Konan waking up he had to join his new squad for a brief of that special mission. The brief was given by Karskin sergeant. The mission was to destroy an Ork artillery on a ridge which was so far away that it could not be seen. The sergeant gave five meltabombs apiece to all of the volunteer for that special mission. Konan was really surprised that they had to ride a Chimera. Konan had never ridden a Chimera before. So as Konan got into a Chimera, he knew that the battle had just begun and somewhere on that ridge something horrible was waiting for them.
