I came across this topic recently on one of the myspace groups, in the space wolves codex it states that a wolf guard battle leader may be given any equipment from the space wolves armoury or/and the wolf guard entry in the army list. This makes it possible to make a wolf guard battle leader with a lascannon on a bike, or a battle leader with terminator armour with assault cannon attached to a squad of grey hunters. Its a strange loophole if it is indeed one.
