Its is a cunning optical illusion provided by many shadowy layers of the same image overlayed in a slightly distorted order, with the further from the optical reciever (in this case the eye) getting more detailed than the last. You eye randomly picks up details from the shadowy layers and combines the more detailed with it, and forms it into one, then reverts back to the furthest one (with full detail). Atleast, thats how I remember things work. |
