I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but here is my knowledge of Crisis suit configurations.


Crisis suit patterns to be used in groups of three:

Fireknife pattern Crisis suit- Plasma Rifle, Missle Pod, Multi-Tracker(general anti-marine/light vehicle suit)

Helios Pattern Crisis suit- Fusion Blaster, Plasma Rifle, Multi-Tracker(general anti heavy infantry/ vehicle suit)

Sunforge Pattern Crisis suit- Twin-Linked Fusion Blaster, Shield Generator(Armored company and tank heavy army suit)

Death Rain Pattern Crisis suit- Twin-Linked Missle Pod, Drone Controller w/ 2 gun drones(speed freaks and light vehicle suit)

Blinding Spear pattern Crisis suit- Plasma Rifle, Burst Cannon, Multi-Tracker and if Shas'vre Hard-wired drone controller w/ 2 gun drones.(Swarm army and specifically nid armies)



Monat Crisis suit configurations

Sould Cleanse Pattern Crisis suit- Flamer, Fusion Blaster, Shield Generator, Hard-wired drone controller w/ 2 gun drones.(Time buyer, anti-light infantry and anti-tank)

Virola Parrern Crisis suit-Shas'vre, Fusion Blaster, Burst Cannon, Drone Controller w/ 2 gun drones, Hard wired multi tracker


And here's some other things.

Seven Samuri Armies- O'Shovah enclave armies where you take advantage of Farsight's ability to take a retinue of 7 crisis suits, taking up to 1000+ points of HQ.

Mech Armies- Tau armies that focus on the mechanized warfare of the tau, taking no infantry without a devilfish, no ethereals, broadsides, gun drones and very rarely kroot.

Static Tau Armies- Tau armies that focus on the massed firepower of the tau, massing pulse fire, railgun fire, with cc support from kroot, interception with crisis suits, vespid and piranhas and more commonly then other armies taking ethereals.

Hybrid Tau Armies- Taking the best elements of the static and mech armies and combining them into an effective force. The bread and butter tau army.
