I like Malal very much. As such, I applaud you for taking this project upon yourself.

anyhoo...

First off, I really like shameful fury. Unfortunatly, it is a major disadvantage. As such, i think those marked should recieve an additional benefit. Allow me to make a suggestion:

Fearless (obviously)
Soul Burn: At the end of the game, every surviving enemy unit that has suffered casualties from a unit with the Mark of Malal must roll one D6. On a result of a 1 or a 2, the surviving members of the unit count as casualties for victory points purposes.

Also...i have another suggestion. Because the forces of Malal are often weak and under foot, they may often have to make deals with forces they would normally not. As such, they may include ONE unit without the Mark of Malal, though they may not have any other mark.

I have one final suggestion: Malal does not have any greater daemons aligned to his power. Instead, he relies on immensly power non-daemonic minions to od his bidding. As such, characters with the Mark of Malal may have up to 200 points of wargear rather than the normal 150, and 100 of those points may be spent on daemonic gifts.

Hope these help or inspire you to new ideas,
R_B
