Default Turbo-Boosting Hounds of Doom?

Now before I go any further, just let me say I am very sorry if this has already been covered in Errata or any of the FAQs. Those update too fast for me to keep up with all of them.

Back to the actual point,

Hypothetically, lets say I'm organzing my forces for a game and have 100 points left over. Lets say that I purchase a Lieutenant with the following:
-CSM Bike
-Frag Grenades
-Chaos Hounds x2
Now lets say that during the course of the game, my Lieutenant turbo-boosts 24" on his bike. According to the chaos hounds description, they will always "move at the same speed of their masters" (pg. 16 of the CSM codex). Assuming that that is the case, the hounds will also move 24". So, here's my question: what effect does this have on the hounds? Do they count as turbo-boosting also? Does their save become invulnerable? But, after all, they can't legally turbo-boost, seeing as they're not on bikes; does this mean they can still attack if they move into base contact with an enemy model? It seems unreasonable to make the hounds count as turbo-boosting, but it seems broken if a Chaos Lord could turbo-boost across the table and potentially get up to 12 attacks from up to 4 hounds. In fact, the whole matter of the hounds bounding 24" in a single turn seems totally unrealistic.

Any help regarding this matter will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again,
R_B
