grenadiers are a seperate choice on the FOC and have no relation in any way to infantry platoons...
your only 2 restrictions on including them are;
a) the FOC itself as you only ever have 6 'Troops' max
b) the limitations of the grenadier doctrine. (ie: 0-3 squads max)
so by the sounds of it, instead of taking an armoured fist squad, you want to repleace it instead with a chimera mounted grenadier squad?!
