well my two cents; i'd think that any new rules applied over standard stats for a model would override anything the model originally had, unless specifically stated..
it makes sense to me at least, haha. some of the printings or older codices might be a little bit muddier in their language and thus be harder to understand. what am i talking about, there are discrepancies and hard-to-understand things in 4th ed as well haha
but oh well :]
