I've seen all of them used at some point. Zzap guns are easy to avoid and blow away from long range but can be good when they shoot. Lobbas are really effective but few people believe in the benefits of pinning. Cannons most people avoid because they dont hit enough.
In Japan I'm all over the Cannon though, the basic rules that they have here have the cannon as S5 AP4 Ordanance blast for frag and S10 AP1 for crack. Any Ork player who is envious of the HammerHead come out here and play with the Japanese Ork list.
