1. if you hit him and your weapon is instakill you still need to roll a d6. if you roll a 1he is alive as a 1 is always a failure or crew stunned.
2. no. roll to hit. then roll strenght. then roll for penetration.
3. vehicles can as long as they moved only 6 inches. there is a page in the rule book with more details. dreadnaughts maybe. termies i seriously doubt it.
4. in CoD yes. in regular 40k just try to place as many under the template.
