After reading the High Lords of Terra bit, Im glad I mention them decreeing the formation of my chapter- which admittedly they then put under Inquisitorial control.
I have to admit that the Knight's background is rather peculiar, possibly even implausible, but hopefully I've written it in such a fashion as to seem that it was simply a rare event rather than an impossibility.

well from what i have read i see your Penitant knights more of a deathwatch (or whatever they are called) like chapter but i dont really know much about the Deathwatch other then many chapters send marines to it. do your apothecaries send the gene-seed of the fallen marines back to the parent chapter of each marine that joins? dont remember seeing if you wrote about that...
