Well, tips depend on which "path" you intend to take.
1) The Puritan: Using lots of Grey Knights, perhaps with some storm troopers thrown in. Small force, but Grey Knights are very powerful! Not a lot of anti-vehicle, though, so dreadnoughts with lascannons will be useful. As well as a Land Raider.
2) The Radical: Using daemonhosts. If you use them, you'll have to depend on Stormtroopers for troops, which isn't bad, but they're just not as powerful. This also means you'll probably use assassins more than you would if you followed the first path. An Inquisitor will be the HQ for your force, which isn't bad, but they're not really that great in close combat. You'll probably also want to ally another force to yours so you can get some anti-tank in your force.
You also don't have to go pure Daemonhunters. It's possible, but it's probably actually better to ally them, regardless of the method from above you choose. They are very specialized, so having a few of them to deal with daemons and stuff is good because then your line troops can focus on the other troops, and you won't have to use Grey Knights against mutants from Lost and the Damned...
So, which method will you employ?
