As an X-Ork player I could give about 100 reasons why Orks are better than ANY other army out there. I'll only state a couple (i have to finish some college papers that are due tomorrow!!).
1. Clans - Choose a clan and you are supreme in any field you want. IE- Goofs= S4 3A w/o charge, Bad Moon= Can outfire ANYTHING. Death Skulls= Whole army of Missile Launchers. Blood Axes= Orks that Infiltrate. Kult of Speed (the best)= 1st Charges w/ whole army, even Ork boyz rock. Feral Orks= Madboyz (s4 bs3 and fearless) Squiggoths, An Ork Warboss that has great armor and Charges 12"
2. Killa Kans- A group of 3 Dreadnoughts. Make a screen or just kill stuff.
3. Mob Rule - Best thing ever. Orks get their Ld Save usually a Ld8, then 2d6 for morale. If your mob numbers 12 or more you are immune to morale.
4. Waaaagh- Double I value of Orks that charge and pass Mob Rule. So regular boyz get I4, Nobs get I6 and Warboss strikes first at I8. A Slugga Boy with S3 I4 A4 wielding Choppas is awesome.
5. Choppas - Modifies armor save, bye bye power Armor.
6. Looted Vehicles- Want a Lander Raider, take one. How about a pie-plate take that too. Blood Axes and Lootas get extra Looted Vehicles.
7. Shoota/Slugga- S4, its better than a lasgun and has armor penetration. It also is cheaper than a bolter.
8. Ard Boyz- Orks with 4+ save, need I say more.
9. Rokkit Launchas- Best weapon. A anti- tank weapon, that is assualt and you can take many of them. Also knocks down MEQs easy like.
10. Models and Attitude- The Models look fantastic. The Ork Attitude is what I use most often: We are gonna win always. If we lose we will come back again to beat you up then.
