well, though i haven't yet sunk so low as to employ a daemonhost, i have faced a few so from an opponent's perspective;
- keep them well away from your own units!
your opponent will get a good chuckle out of watching your little pet 'terrify' your own army though you might not see as much humor in the situation!
- if a daemonhost can't break its enemies on the charge, then prey next turn you get 'bloodboil'!
- always remember that daemonhosts are expendable. they never count as scoring units so use it as a throw-away unit. if you're going to lose a unit to say some charging banshees, better your daemonhost buys it than the squad of storm troopers who can still grab the objective later!
- 'hosts are also quite handy for powering up a culexus assassin's speculum. being fearless *and* always passing psychic tests means they won't suffer any ill effects from the culexus' 'soulless' rules.
