Oh boy it was not fun, it's basically a matter of using sprue cutters to hack at the helmet as far as you can go, then using a drill to dig into it. Then switching back to sprue cutters to trim the sides down before drilling again.
Needless to say the Grey Knight helmet will be destroyed in the first few minutes and it take a REALLY long time to get it drill out enough for a head to fit down inside it. It's a pain but looks nice in the end. |
