Whoa... you totally freaked me when I read that EA was taking over the project. Actually, they aren't.
EA bought Mythic yes, but Mythic is still making the game. Mythic's previous game was Dark Age of Camelot, which I played for like 3 years. The game stood out from the pack as it probably had the best PvP architecture for an MMO yet! I don't think that WoW sucks as an MMO. In fact it's a very good one. Although, it lacks good PvP. That makes it get boring rather quick. Also, because of it's popularity, the WoW populace sucks. Lots of jerks and WAY too kids play it.
I don't play MMO's anymore because I don't have the time. Warhammer:AOR is actually kind of appealing to me though as they're making a bit more like Guild Wars and less of painful level grinding PvE. Guess we'll see though. |
