Don't like the base you say? You could flock it to look like desert, grass,dirt, or stone

Also littering it with corpses is always fun

some chopped up imperial guard

could get an extra guardsman from a friend and put him together so he lays down on the base the take a razor to him and go crazy!!!

then paint him so he is suitably gorey and bloody
