Default Black Saints Founding (rough draft).

Ok..This is how the B.S. go.. A rough shod founding history, that will be polished over later. Thanks to Steellegioncpt for helping me hammer this out!

The original Chapter Master, waaaaay back when (War of Apostasy with High Lord Vandire or Cursed Founding, haven’t decided), named Adonis was a Blood Angels company commander who placed his warriors through tremendous psychic conditioning, purity tests, etc.. and thereby, almost wholly weeded out the black rage and red thirst. His company also shunned the use of a formal death company, due to their distaste for wholly unfocused rage.

Adonis died when a combined force of Red Corsairs (almost exclusively from the Blood Angels) attacked his ship and destroyed it almost utterly. They barely managed to recover the fallen men aboard the cruiser. And thus began the practice of the company of recycling the geneseed, and re-naming the Initiate with the name of the marine whose geneseed he had inherited.

Adonis, however, was placed on study and such in the apothecarion as an example of absolute purity and perfection. All were commanded to never remove it from its stasis tank. Though, one day, a newly made marine training to be an apothecary took it and implanted it into the body of a one Mael.

This Mael had earlier that day sustained horrible injuries when a botched training exercise had seen a plasma cannon overheat, and Mael had thrown himself onto the gun bank, with naught but his scout armor to protect him. Somehow, the pitiful armor and the body of Mael held back the blast, and most of his body survived.

At the orders of the Company Commander, Mael was placed in the hands of the Sanguinary Priests, and then underwent the final transformation to become a marine, in hopes that his enhanced physique could withstand his wounds.

At this time, the B.S. were still a part of the Blood Angels, although they barely answered to the Chapter Master on Baal, and had taken to letting the blood of their enemies stay on their armor, eventually staining it black, to remind them of the massacre of their company by the Red Corsairs.

They also had been a millenia or so without an actual Commander, and were eventually placed into the hands of the Chapters (Blood Angels) Chaplain corps, to help keep an eye on them due to their increasingly erratic behavior, and remoteness from Baal.

One day, Adonis was granted the mantle of the 4th Company, and promptly set out for Baal from a Crusade with the Dark Angels chapter, where he stormed into the midst of a Chapter council meeting, and demanded to see the Chapter Master, in private, now. This demand was voiced with such authority, and such was the power in Adonis’ voice, that half the chamber had cleared before he had time to even think of repeating himself.

They (Adonis and the Chapter Master) were cloistered in the darkest chambers of the monastery for exactly three months, and upon emerging Adonis was taken to the depths of the monastery forges, where he was granted a suit of armor long in the forging by the command of one of the Chapter librarians, though not even he knew why he commanded it, just that it must be.

This suit was accompanied by a suit of lightning claws like none other, requiring a staggering decade to complete in and of them. They were etched and sealed with purity seals, and each fist went unadorned, though over time different oath papers would come to be affixed to it.
Upon receiving this gift, Adonis proceeded to Terra, with the endorsement of his parent chapter, and when finally allowed planet side, met with the High Lords of Terra, where he was granted the rights to split his company from the other and form his own chapter.
