The Orks Biology
The Orks have a DNA strand containing animal and fungal/algal strands, the animal stand contains the genetic material of the individual subspecies, where the fungal/algal contains the genetic information for the verities of Orkoid. The fungal/algal helps with the healing of wounds it also helps them survive all manner of wounds which would have incapacitated a normal man. This biology helps the Ork in combat by making them strong, tough, making them good fighters and allowing them to shrug off most wounds. Orks contain a techno-gene this gives them the knowledge that they need to operate vehicles, weapons ,how to talk and how to fight. The gene also contains the information for the Ork specialists like the medical knowledge for the Mad Doks and the mechanical knowledge for the Mekboys. Reproduction
The Orks reproduce by releasing spores into the atmosphere, when the spores settle in the ideal conditions (dark,dank areas like caves and forests) they develop into a a plant like womb underground with a fungus growing above. The womb then develops the Orkoid, after some time the Orkoid is released. Orks are not the first to be released from the womb, it is the Squigs who are first, then the Snotlings, then the Gretchin and finally the Orks. This helps Ork Settlements form because when the the Orks come out of the womb there is an abundance of food and slaves for them. Ork Subspecies
Gretchen:they are small green creatures that are slaves to the Orks, this why they often act like they were a kicked dog. They are often at the wrong end of every thing, they have to clear the mine fields for the Orks, act as meat shields and are often used as food for the bigger Orks.
Squigs:they are animals which share the same biology as Orks and Gretchen. They are often used as food, clothing, weapons and often being trained as attack Squigs or giant Squiggoths. Society
Orks are organized into a strict hierarchy based on the size:
-Warboss (the biggest and strongest, thus in charge)
-Nobs (Orks of importance, they are like nobles)
-Skarboys (Ork veterans)
-Boys (normal Orks)
The Boys are organized into mobs (Squads) which are often lead by a Nob. With enough Mobs banded together by a Warboss, a warband is formed. Then a Warboss can bring warbands under there control to form a clan. With enough clans banded together under the Warboss' control a "Waaagh" is then launched with the goal of conquering planets and fighting.There are some Orks with a specific specialty:
-Mekboys:The mechanics in Ork society, they build and maintain the vehicles, weapons and machines of the Orks.
-Mad doks: The doctors of Ork society, they fix injuries the an Ork could not normally heal on its own, they also attach Ork bionics and perform transplants and surgeries for Orks. Religion
Orks have two gods called Gork and Mork. The Ork gods have described as being brutally cunning and cunningly brutal, Orks don't seem to know which one is which and this reason has caused many wars between different groups of Orks because they believe that there view is the correct one. Currency
The main currency of the Orks are there teeth (teef). After an amount of time the teeth start to degrade this helps stabilize the prices and stops inflation. Language
Due to there tusks Orks are unable to pronounce "H" or "er" but for example "Hunter" will be "'unta". They also don't pluralize with a "s" they use a more harsher "z" instead. Instead of the use of writhing they use glyphs to represent the words, the glyphs are used on vehicles and on banners and armor.
