After you apply the ink, INSTANTLY take the sharp corner of a paper towel, and apply it to the center of the eye. It sucks up the ink in the center.

Then you wait for each eye to dry, then you lightly apply a coat of white, wait for that to dry.

Then you pop a dot on. Placement is key. If you go off-center you end up with Cletus's retarded cousin. And it's REALLY REALLY easy to go off-center.
