My tactics are to keep Mortifer & his squad in reserve, and deploy the scouts outside of line of sight, but near to, a key squad, then deep strike them using the teleport homer.
I'll deploy Imperiosus within line of sight of enemy armour (or a Monstrous Creature), and use the Multi-Melta to it's full effect, while using the Bolters to counter-attack any enemy counter-attacks.
Dominor, Casus and Hydrus will be deployed near objectives, or if there aren't any, in positions where they can catch the enemy in a cross fire, then charge.
The Land Speeders will be the only unit deployed within my deployment zone. One will take the left flank, one take the right flank, and move to support my forces on those flanks. The last will move in support of Mortifer once his team Deep Strikes. | Well, my comments are in red as always. Hope it helps. |
