You'll need to be very careful if you plan on infiltrating the Genestealers.
An opponent who catches sight of them 12" from their line will simply obliterate them with every heavy weapon they have.
It's a lot of points to loose in the first turn.
What you could do is infiltrate the brood halfway across the board.
That way they'll be less likely to get shot up all chunkey like,
the broodlord will act as a synapse anchor for the gaunts when they out run the Tyrant and Zoanthropes,
Then the genestealers and all the gaunts will hit the enemy lines at roughly the same time, which is a hell of a lot more devestating than having them show up at different times.
As for the Lictor...
Make sure your opponent knows you have one, it'll be more valuable as a psychological weapon than as a combat monster.
Will an opponent really want to set up their big chunkey death squad in a hedge when a lictor might suddenly pop out and cut them to ribbons?
And any cover not used by the enemy is your ticket to keeping another dozen or so gaunts alive until they hit the other guy. |
