erus- chill out, have a beer and relax dude. i aint trying to piss on your parade dude. you're design is a great (as you put it) IDEA. i'd like to point out that the whole point of this forum topic is to discuss what members like and dislike about the t-shirts. am i correct? i was merely stating my opinion. no one has to go with it if they dont want to.
if you want a staff only shirt great put "staff" on it. now no one who can read will not know that you are part of the staff for the site. if you use just the icons they arent gonna know what in the hell its supposed to mean. regardless if we put nothing but the site web address on the shirt someone will come ask what its about and you can go into overdrive to explain it. why do you need something to point out you are a staff member. if youre at a games day or similar the "staff" who are important to folks are the tourney staff. most folks could care less about staff from a website. granted some may but just as many would talk to someone with out the "staff" or "icons of staff positions" as someone with them.
were you also thinking of creating designs for all the members who arent staff? becuase i would like a site shirt myself. i dont know when i'd get to the next seattle gd but i'd really like showing off the shirt to the local game store and local tourneys and get more of my local folks interested in it. BUT if you youre only designing a staff shirt i'll stop watching this topic and leave you to your staff only designs.
that probably will tick you off a bit but yours really po'd me. maybe i missed it but i was under the impression (until you said these were designs for staff shirts) that these were going to be shirts for all site members. so by seeing you say they were for staff really insulted me.
ok time to calm down a bit and get back on topic.
the modified aquila design and the quote are both great ideas and i'd be proud to wear a site shirt with them on it. how ever if you put "imperial citizen" (as i'm not one of the site staff) on it anywhere we're asking for GW to come shut us down.
