Okay, some comments:
Templar Mikael:
I don't know what the Dread is going to do, honestly. In my 1000pt battles, he tends to act a fire support, marching forward and then smashing into CC.
As for not a lot of Anti-tank. Unless I am mistaken, I think this army has a decent bit of anti-tank.
I have:
1 Pred.
2. Dread (not amazing, but assault cannon and S10 in CC)
3. 2 Squads with Powerfists
That is 1 GOOD anti-tank unit, and 3 decent anti-tank units. Depeding on the force, I might try to squeeze in another Powerfist and get more Meltas... but I think this army is good as it is.
Erus:
Okay, snipers would be good, but as it is, I have 4 bolter scouts and 1 HB... so I only need 1 more scout to complete this squad. I do agree that snipers make scout a lot better, but, I think with this army, a little fire base of scouts is nice.
The Dread and a drop pod has two problems: I don't really want to make a drop pod, and I don't really have the points in this army... I could possibly squeeze it in, but I had a hard enough time adding everything that I already have in this list.
Oh, and I do have a Termie Chaplain, btw.
The assault squad should probbaly have a Flamer or two... if I can fit in the point, I see about that. Thanks for reminding me.
As for the Pred. a while ago, someone explained to me the usefulness of this apperently useless model:
Lascannons count as primary weapons, meaning if I want to fire more than one, I must not move, if I don't move, I can fire 2 (or something like that).
However, HBs are secondary weapons, meaning I can fire them even if I move. The turret weapon is Twin-linked... that, combined with the SUPER high S and GREAT SM BS means I should be able to score a penatrating hit EVERY turn, or wound a MC every turn. The HBs are good against most non-vehicles (not great against MCs, but with 6 shoots...), so that means that even after I have killed all of my enemies tanks I have a tank that can shoot enemy squads and destroy them with ease.
Thanks for the comments!
