The odd little brass pin type things they use on reports, that have two little foldable parts and such, they splay out to hold the papers together.. Horribly vague, but those would work too.
Any leather store should have them. If you're real nice, I'll venture into my dreaded closet and see if I can find my catalogs and supplies.
