Mortar Support Squad 3x Mortars

Fire Support Squad 3x HB
Sentinel Support Squadron- 1x Sentinel, Drop Troops, Autocannon

+++ swap 1 mortar squad for an anti-tank squad... mortars are more for annoyance value than any real killing power.

a deep striking sentinel is designed to carry a heavy flamer! trust me, it's the best 40pts you'll ever spend and your opponents will hate the bugger! (mine is feared above anything else in my drop army!)+++

Witch Hunter- Inquisitor Lord- Bolt Pistol, Power Weapon
Psychic Hood, Scourging, Purgatus
2x Acolyte's, 2x Penitents, 1x Familiar

+++ i'd honestly plump for the daemonhunter version... (just call him a 'witch hunter' for background!) there's little that trumps a psycannon + 2-3 heavy bolter servitors & holocaust. entire hoards will disappear under that lovely pie-plate!+++

ELITE

Callidus Assasin

Veteran Squad- 3x Meltagun, Drop Troops

Veteran Squad- 3x Plasmagun, Drop Troops

+++ the callidus will likely earn you a good deal of complaints... just something to keep in mind really.

how many vets in each squad? if there's 10, the sergeant should have a power fist as it's one of your only sources for those 'hidden' S6 attacks!+++

Elite Total- 270

TROOPS

Command Squad- JO- Iron Dicipline, Laspistol, CCW, Droop Toops
Command Squad- 4x Guardsmen 4xflamer, Die Hards, Drop Troops
4x Infantry Squads- Drop Troops, Die Hards, Lascannon x4

Command Squad- JO- Iron Dicipline, Laspistol, CCW, Drop Troops
Command Squad- 4x Guardsmen 1x Autocannon, Die Hards
4x Infantry Squads- Drop Troops, Die Hards, Lascannon x4

+++ 4 flamers is a bit of over-kill... generally i've found that 2 is all you really need. with so many hits, even marines feel it!
for the 2nd command squad, consider running 3 plasma guns + medic. very effective and gives you a great anti-MEQ unit!

lose those lascannons from the squads though: your infantry are ment to shoot enemy infantry! wasting 9 men just to miss a tank isn't a brilliant move...
if you must have some tank-hunting potential in your infantry, go with the autocannon instead. 2 S7 shots will take out most transports. (and they'll do it more reliably than the single-shot lascannon!)
add in some special weapons too... grenade launchers are a great choice, (despite how 99% of power gamers call them utter crap), as it's still a S6 ap4 shot that always fires upto 24"!+++

Troops Total- 769

FAST ATTACK

Rough Rider Squad- 7x Rough Riders, Hunting Lance's, Melta-Bombs
Rough Rider Vet Sgt- Hunting Lance, Frag Grenades, Power Weapon Melta Bomb

Sentinel Squadron- Drop Troops, Autocannon x1

Sentinel Squadron- Drop Troops, Autocannon x1

+++ again, if you're going to deep strike the sentinels, then heavy flamers are the weapon of choice...
autocannons have their 48" range which they use for protection; out-ranging most of their targets!+++

Fast Attack Total- 237

HEAVY SUPPORT

Leman Russ Demolisher- Extra Armor, Smoke Launchers, Hull HB,
Sponson Plasma Cannons

+++ 1 ordinance weapon + 2 main weapons isn't a great set-up... you should only ever have take 1 S7+ weapon on any tank in order to keep it mobile. plus, those plasma cannons might look great on paper, but most gamers have learned the valuable lession of spreading out their units to minimise the effects of blast weapons! (or else they have the hoard from hell which doesn't case that 4-6 guys just got pasted!!!)
swap to heavy bolters or heavy flamers instead...+++

Leman Russ Battle Tank- Extra Armor, Improved Comms, Hull HB,

personally i'm really not a fan of the mixing heavy armour w/all drop-troops, but i do see the tactical value of it...

the big weakness is see is the lack of 100% specialization - especially in the infantry! guard is all about building each squad to fit one role and making them great at it. (well, great at it for guardsmen at least!)
tank-hunting infantry squads waste so many shots it isn't funny... against infantry though, that lascannon is simply 110% over-kill!

you're also a bit light on numbers which is again a bad thing for guard... we die in droves, it's enevitable! in a 2500 pts army, i'd personally look at getting at least 160-175 bodies. (more likely going on 200!)

hope this helps,
cheers!
