well, at worst you'll get a S0 ap6 shot!
still though, on average you're looking at anywhere from a S3 - S5 ap4/3 shot which isn't half bad... (especially if your opponent like to bunch up their units for you!)
however, even if you only get off just one good shot, say a S7/8 ap3/2 blast, your opponent, and anyone watching will treat that libby with trepidation at worst!
