i kinda feel the same way, but mostly for fluff reasons. my chapter's not keen on psychic abilities, so i leave librarians out, and chaplains are nice when they DS with assault squads. otherwise, i bring a completely [or near-completely stock] commander in every army list, if not two. right now i have this : chapter master+lightning claws...that simple :]
he comes in a command squad with twin flamers and a vet with powerfist, as well as a bunch of BP/CCW guys. and infiltrate, to get those CCW to killin' sooner..i just like having simple HQ's so i can cram as many infiltrating marines as possible..does anyone else mass marines ? i just want to know how well their lists do generally, and how the set them up.
