Default who's YOUR inquisitor?!

i figured i'd start this thread up so we can all share names/backgrounds and such of our own inquisitors we all know about the famous ones from the books and such, but about the characters we come up with! what's their story?

well, my inquisitor is Odion. he's a radical of corse and also not very nice to any who cross his path!
as for his story;

Odion was recruited at a very young age by the known radical Inquisitor Lichtenstien. Little is known about the circumstances, however the more fancifull tales tell of how the young Odion saved Lichtenstien's life as the city and most of its millions of inhabitants came under the sway of a powerfull Daemon. In gratitude, Lichtenstien took the boy into his service to train him as his new apprentice. It is much more likely however that during a routine purging, Lichtenstien realised that Odion was a psyker and instead of sending the boy to the black ships, he simply errased any records of the boy's existance.
Raised by the venerable Lichtenstien inducted the young Odion into the many secrets and terrible truths of the Ordo Malleus. A member of the Istvaanian faction, Lichtenstien taught his young pupil that the Warp itself was not an evil and could be harnesed as a weapon - it only required a strong enough mind and purity of purpose. Chaos and its servents were simply a result of those without the strength of will to resist the lust for true power. Thus Odion came to see Chaos not as an evil in and of itself, but as a mirror of one's true soul. Faith was all he needed to protect himself from the wispered temptations of the Dark Gods. Odion finally attained his master's true respect after his defeat of the daemon, Dhaos Amen'Ra, a powerfull servent of Tzeentch and bound the infernal creature into a mighty power hammer. Thus Odion came to wield the daemon weapon Dhaos Dhachamon 'Ra, The Hand of Fate.
However, there were some secrets that Lichtenstien jealously guarded from Odion. Such as the truth about what truely happened when the boy's homeworld was destroyed; that it was a direct result of one of his failed studies and experiments. Lichtenstien also kept the true nature of his works and researched hidden from his apprentice. Unfortuneately for Lichtenstien, Odion was eventually to discover the inquisitor's hidden studies into binding a daemon within a mortal host. Just as Lichtenstien finally succeeded and the Daemonhost Gaustos bellowed it's rage, Odion left Lichtenstien's servic to bring word of his master's heresies to the high masters of their ordo.
If Odion expected salvation, then he was to be sorely denied any mercey by many of his peers. While there were some who realised the risk Odion had taken in fleeing Lichtensiten's side and would have gladely granted him leniency, many of the more puritanical Inquisitors would hear nothing of such a notion. Led by the bombastic Witch Hunter Tyrus and the other Monodominants, Odion was declaired 'guilty by association' and outcast from the Ordo Malleus.
Embittered by what he saw as blind jealousy and ignorance, Odion setout on his own to track down his former mentor. Finding refuged within the shadowy and sinister Ordo Hereticus, Odion gathered about himself a very few retainers he could trust and stole a ship in order to being his quest for redemption. Now a sinister, brooding and hate-filled man, Odion actively seeks out any Puritan that crosses his path in order to payback the humiliation he himself has suffered. Odion's search has been benificial however, as after the events on the world of Palantinus, Odion now has in his service two entire Imperial Guard regiments. The Inquisitor continues to actively search for ancient and cursed artifacts of Chaos and is even rummored to have found allies with a secretive chapter of Space Marines.
None are sure of Odion's plans should he find his former mentor, but the Monodominants, led by Tyrus have vowed not let Odion succeed, whatever his nefarious plans may be.

cheers!
