Only problem I fore see is the fact that the points cost for a modified Terminus would be ridiculous as it costs an additional point for each model it carries as a transport option...
Using the VDR will actually up the points of the base model by 20%...so yer lookin at somewhere in the vicinity of 350 points...
Also you would have to modify the model to show the troop capacity or add exterior generators for the LCs to cover the WYSIWYG rules for the VDR...
Best to start with a VDR design by the rules first then adjust your model to reflect that...say a Terminus that has gatling bolters or something to that effect...using all the side ports as gun points and just the clam shell for your troop access point.
