Well, I don't have a link for it, and I'm not even sure it's on the web... but I found a guy who made some that were inspired by Dave:

The article was in WD 308, and it was really more about how Dave got the inspiration and using/modeing "counts as" armies.
I tried looking up pics, and they were on the spanish website, but there was an error. This should be a smaller version, but hopefully you'll be able to get something out of it.
