i used to play catachans back when the list was frist released and i can confidently say that properly used in the right terrain they is damn near unbeatable.

the thing you have to pay particular attention to is the "ambush" rule. it's like deepstrike in a way but a lot more reliable. a potential game winner when coupled with the catachans abilities in jungle terrain and the "spooked" rule.

if he's smart about it, lotbt will have his platoon squads cover any trails/clearings with their heavy weapons whilst the more specialised catachan units set ambushes and other fun stuff in the jungle. that way the heavy guns either lay the smack down on the enemy or force them into the trees, neither of which is a particulaly good move.

all in all my vote goes to Last of the Bloodthirsty and the mean green jungle fightin machine
