Default the background of my armies

i have stated a few times that my two major 40k armies are linked so i thought i might start my stay here at 40kterra by delving into what the exact nature of their relationship is...

My ork army was part of the massive Waagh! Snagrod that smashed through the Crimson Fists and nearly wiped them out. My ork warboss, a distant member of the Deth Skullz tribe, his name is Waaghboss Zagsnik Gordakka, and his warband is notorious for serving as mercenaries for planetary lords unscrupulous enough to use xenos. However Zagsnik is rather cunning for an ork, and uses these planetary lords to equip his armies with many looted vehicles and imperial weaponry (army wise i have lots of lootaz and looted vehicles) after whatever threat that Zagsnik was hired to deal with, he usually turns his new weaponry onto the lord who hired him to get more concessions. However, rather than stay and gain too much attention, Zagsnik realizes that it is better to horde his wealth in his own personal battleship and go else where for another potential employer, who happened to be Warlord Snagrod.

Zagsnik didn't like Snagrod, but he payed well, so Zagnsik and his ladz went along for the ride. They had many many fights over the next few years with the crimson fists, and slowly came to respect their stubbornness and tenacity. In fact Zagsnik respected them so much he declared them his favorite enemy and painted his fist red in recognition of this fact. His ladz quickly followed suit, and soon his warband was know as the Red Fisted Killas.

From the Crimsons Fists point of view, the Warboss Zagsnik is a constant thorn in their side, he is cunning enough to be a threat, and yet always manages to elude them whenever they are in any position to finally deal with him permanently. The Captain of the 4th Company, Captain Nemamiah (my SM general) has even been captured by Zagsnik, and was feared lost by the chapter for nearly 10 years but managed to escape. His ordeal left Nemamiah with an insight in Zagsnik's methods and has been tracking Zagsnik ever since. He was given leave by Chapter Master Kantor to hunt down Zagsnik, as Kantor can understand the depth of hatred that Nemamiah feels towards Zagsnik. Therefore he allowed Nemamiah to declare a crusade against Zagsnik, so Nemamiah took his company aboard one of the few remaining battle barges, The Unrelenting Fury (link to my BFG CS fleet) and scour the galaxy for Zagsnik. In the process Nemamiah has recruited new marines from several different planets, and his company is larger than would normally be allowed, it is thought that his company is almost 200 marines strong in total, maybe more. Interestingly enough, many of his recruits have manifested psychic powers, and there are many librarians amongst his ranks.

The entire 4th company is a tight-knit group. They have been crusading together now for nearly a century, and they are all driven individuals, whose hatred for the orks is deep and dark. Many sources whisper that they are close to damnation, as there is no telling what they will do to achieve their goal. They have many links all over the Imperium, who search out any piece of information about the elusive Zagsnik, and many of the battle brothers are spread out far and wide throughout the galaxy looking for information. Several work individually for years at a time, hunting up leads and looking for information (tie into Inquisitor character)

so there's a basic background into the links between my two armies...the new Crimson Fists are getting the whole kit when it comes to building and conversions, most have some form of orky trophy and i'm going to try some new things when it comes to basing and painting them...

i will start a modelling guide once i start the company, which i intend to collect in it's entirety, with their many allies which include several ordo xenos inquisitors, assassins, and one IG regiment in particular: the swords of Reynard, whose planet was destroyed by Zagsnik, and who now serve as a bulk of the serfs in the company, the IG is another army that i will be building up after my marine army is completed...+sighs+ my obsession never ends...
