OK guys...here it is...how to make a Leman Russ Battle tank useable in yer Space Wolf Army...

I picked up one of the Russ models for $10 bucks off and as the Exterminator model was $12 bucks more I had an idea...and a use for a bunch of those bits...

First I cut off the Battle cannon from the coweling piece and filed it smooth, then glued a small square of plascard over the hole.
Next I cut and glued the two halves of the Autocannons from the new pred kits (these were in my bitz box I have 5 preds remember?) and added two small strips of sprue from the Russ kit for supports...

so here's what it looks like at this point...

Next cut the scanner cowling from the new bit...the one that sits next to the Autocannon on the turret bit...

Then cut the piece across just behind the pin on the underside...

Then cut the center peice about two millimeters on either side of the pin...and you have this...

Now take the sensor cowlings and mount them to either side of the guns...a little sanding is required to get the fit right and glue the center piece from the above pic in between...again a little careful sanding is required to get the fit flush...
