right. if you want to completely make one up use the traits system in the back of 4th ed SM codex.
if you're going to make a successor chapter to BA, DA, or BT, or even SW, then i think you might want to use their codices instead, and perhaps change the color scheme to differientate your chapter from the parent chapter[s]
