Default Magazine Staff

We would like to keep Liber Imperialis as a bi-monthly contribution to this site and providing a printable 40K Terra experience that can be taken with you anywhere. To make that happen we need your help!

We are in desperate need of permanent staff to help us out with the mag. As of the last issue only 3 people were activley involved init's construction: Lord Commander Erus, steveberenyi, and Celestial Guardian. In my opionon we did pretty well, but we could be alot better with help.

Anyone who is interested in helping out please respond and let us know what position you are interested in. Postitions are as follows:

Editors (need base of 4) Celestial Guardian, Killer333, Joe Guardsman, Wolfpack

Columnists (need base or 3) Steellegioncpt, Stitch

Reporters (need base of 3) Celestial Guardian

Layout (need base of 3) Celestial Guardian, Caganer, Wolfpack

Artists (need base of 3) steveberenyi, Caganer

Advertising (need base of 2) stevebernyi, Krom Stormbrow

Cartoons/Humor (need base of 2)

Fan Fiction (open to all members)

Duties for these positions are as follows:

Editor: Read all incoming articles checking for spelling, grammer, composition, and article structure. Editors will function as a middle man for the reporter/columnist and the layout staff. Editors will also be charge of layout editing to help the staff of that department.

Columnists: Each have a column that is specific to a theme of which the columnist provides articles. Examples include rants, reviews, tactica etc.

Reporters: Creating articles for use in the mag as well as the accompanying pictures for said articles. Reporters can bring information in from any credable source that does not jeopardise the 40K Terra site (ie credit your sources). All articles are to be Warhammer 40,000 universe related (as in any game set in the). Reports from conventions and Games Days are also welcome and encouraged. Reporters can be either dedicated to writing articles for each mag or write freelance.

Layout: Creates the mag apges and overall look of the mag. Reports to editors on progress of mag with weekly updates.

Artists: Create artwork for use in the mag based upon recent events in the 40,000 universe (new releases, campaigns etc), or simply filler material to be used in random articles and spaces. Covers may alos be drawn from the body of work created by these indiviuals.

Advertising: Create advertisiments to be randomly inserted into the mag using differnt aspects of the forum as a spotlight. General ads for the site as well as specialised sections such as the battlefeild, rpg area, and trading zone will be needed. We cannot advetise pay sites, but we can advertise ourselves! The goal of these ads is to bring Joe Gamer into our community and allow him to grow with us.

Cartoons/Humor: comic strips, one panel comics, jokes and the like by the original artist or joke teller. This material should be fresh and provided by it's original source to avoid IP infringemtns to anyone. For example: Person X gives a "Turn Signals on a Landraider" comic strip in for publication. If person X is not the strips artist it cannot be accepted and it is the Intellectual Property of another person.

Fan fiction: Anyone who has written fan fiction on thsi site has the ability to have their work published in "Tales from the Liber" which will accompany the mag each issue.

For those wondering, the large number of people is to alow those that need to the ability to take a back seat for real life events. We realise tht things happen and ar eproviding a way to deal with them before hand so that the quality of the mag does not suffer and all of our volunteers have time for their own lives as well.

That's it for now.
