Autocannon is the jack of all trades. It can seriouslly punch a gapping hole in all but the heaviest armored units. even MEQ armies fear it, as even though AP isnt high enough, its great streangth will almost always wound.
Infantry? Slaughtered.
Skimers? Light vechs? Toast.
Medium tanks? Well enough.
I don't put them in my infantry, since if the occasion arrives, ill need to move them, and lose two AC.
To get the maximum effect outta' these guys, stick them in heavy weapons platoons and put them in good sight of the whole field. They will trash anything. It really puts fear into your opponent, who isnt willing to run his infantry out of their cover. |
