No that would not be possible

You can make the colour purple sure but not change the rules and with the traits at the back of the Space Marine codex would not be the special rules for black templars.

So yer you can play with black templar rules and jsut change the colour (can't change the rules then)

Or try and make it as close as possible with traits

in your case I would go with the first option as it seems you like the black templar special rules.
