 VDR Rules Your opinion?
As you all may know, well at least the hardxcore vet. gamers from the before time (before 4th ed), maybe familiar with the good old Chapter Approved and the Vehicle Design Rules that follow them.
What I have noticed is that not many people used that around me. I mean sure, we all added gattling battle cannons, titan killer, rending turret mounted to a tank or two, which in theory would be AWESOME! Which would turn into a 500+ point tank... hmm sounds like my Stormblade but yet its not as cool.....
Anyways Im my opinion is was definitely an awesome way to customize an army but the rules for them could never be used really in anything except for friendly games where you messed around. And investing that much time and effort wasnt worth it at all.. But I loved it since it added flavor which is being lost every edition... |
